Overview:

BrandShop’s Facilities Manager contributes to the overall Best in Class branded digital consumer experience by monitoring all aspects of the building and property. This position oversees the maintenance, security, and scheduling of repairs as needed, as well as ensuring all facilities-related expenses and contracts are managed efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor preventative maintenance schedules on all equipment, property, and the general building
  • Source and negotiate contracts with all repair services
  • Procure and maintain efficient inventory levels of all shipping supplies
  • Monitor and maintain monthly budgets for building and shipping supplies, building maintenance and repairs, and utilities
  • Coordinate procurement of custom shipping supplies by working with marketing and operations teams as needed
  • Support VP Operations in the management of labor and workflow in the Warehouse
  • Oversee all aspects of the HVAC, alarm, keyscan and general infrastructure of the building.
  • Be the first responder to any alarm calls
  • Oversee housekeeping services
  • Respond to facilities requests and assign duties as needed
  • Ensure all trucks and batteries are kept charged and in proper condition
  • Train and certify all drivers of material handling equipment
  • Ensure the property is maintained so as to present a clean and safe environment
  • Develop, maintain and execute a strong safety program in the building with a focus on the warehouse

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in a facilities management role
  • Forklift certification
  • Knowledge of HVAC programming, basic carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills
  • Strong organizational and budgeting skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Warehouse/distribution center experience a plus
