What the job is:

BrandShop’s Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing a variety of sales and business development initiatives. This position is focused on assisting the sales team and the company in winning new business.

What you’ll do:

  • Support biz dev leads through each stage of the RFx/proposal/pitch process towards the goal of winning new business, retaining existing clients, and cross-selling/up-selling existing clients on new BrandShop solutions
  • Build sales proposals utilizing input from all stakeholders and ensure that BrandShop’s products and solutions are clearly represented in a singular, cohesive voice
  • Define and manage the process for development of all RFx responses, proposals, and pitches
  • Act as the Project Manager in the development of RFx and proposals in partnership with Sales, Client Success, Subject Matter Experts and any third party partners to manage workstream and assign role/responsibilities across all required business units
  • Proactively highlight potential roadblocks to complete RFx and proposals within requested time frame and develop strategic plan to mitigate potential issues
  • Ensure BrandShop solutions match client needs and accurately represent our delivery capabilities
  • Champion the use of a standardized response plan, set processes, and maintain timelines for the response team to manage against
  • Present updates to management throughout the process of completing the RFx response
  • Accurately capture, aggregate, organize, and manage content in central repositories such as DropBox
  • Partner with SMEs to develop new content to fill information voids, communicate enhancements in product services to Sales, and manage ad-hoc requests for information as needed
  • Provide project based support by managing weekly reporting and ensuring that all active engagements are kept up to date, and the status of each RFx is updated and maintained

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

  • 5 years of experience in a sales support/operational role, including working with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate and sell solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to consistently, clearly, and professionally communicate to all levels within the company including peers, SMEs, and Senior Leadership.
  • Experience working in the e-commerce and technology industries
  • Ability to quickly problem solve and support the organization to develop solutions rather than focus on gaps
  • Ability to manage granular tasks and effectively communicate when others are not meeting proposal requirements and/or expectations
  • Strong meeting management and group process facilitation skills
  • Exceptional writing (particularly in the area of persuasive selling), editing, proofreading, and formatting skills
  • Attention to detail, commitment to quality and excellent organizational skills
  • A solid command of Microsoft Office applications

  • 30% prepping RFx responses, proposals, and pitches
  • 30% collaborating with internal teams on solutions development
  • 30% engaging with clients and prospects to understand scope and requirements
  • 10% maintaining and managing processes, tracking in Salesforce, and reporting
